Dr. Gold has broad experience working in diverse settings, including private practice, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, maximum-security forensic hospitals, a community mental health center, juvenile detention centers, and a sex offender treatment facility. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Arizona State Hospital where she provided individual therapy to individuals with serious mental illness and personality disorders, and also delivered sex offender treatment. Her post-doctoral fellowship at Desert Psychological in Las Vegas focused on individual therapy and a variety of evaluations, including child custody, veteran pension and compensation, peace officer suitability, and personal injury. Dr. Gold is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and the American Psychology-Law Society.

Dr. Gold is a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY35844) in the State of California. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited graduate program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology (TCSPP) in Washington, D.C. She obtained a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from TCSPP and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, College Park.
